WINDFALL

A documentary that tells the story of one small town in upstate New York and its struggle to decide whether or not to accept industrial wind turbine development amidst their homes.

Windfall tells the story of the residents of Meredith, a small town in upstate New York, and the challenges they face as they decide whether or not to accept an industrial wind turbine development in their community. Filmmaker Laura Israel, who owns a cabin retreat in Meredith, tells the story of this struggle as it unfolds before her through the eyes of neighbors both opposed and in favor of the project.
